We are now in the top 50.... how many of these Pokemon will see the top 20?

Number Name Reason
50
Heracross
Heracross ranks 50 this time, similar to its OU tier rankings. Heracross is a very cool Pokemon, combining two awesome types to get a unique dual typing. With two 120 power STABs (Megahorn and Close Combat), Heracross can do massive damage to everything. Heracross also has an epic badass look.

Fun Fact: Heracross is the only Fighting-type Pokemon not to have an evolution or pre-evolution.
49
Skarmory
Skarmory is often regarded as the top physical wall of OU, and with a massive amount of resistances and immunities, plus few weaknesses, and a massive base defense stat alongside instant recovery in Roost, it makes sense for Skarmory to be that good. Skarmory combines tow of my favourite types in another unique typing, which is very cool, and they presented Skarmory well.

Fun Fact: SKARMORY IS THE GREATEST KIDNAPPER! Skarmory in the anime have kidnapped Wobbuffet, May, Azumarill, Meowth, Diglett, Pichu and Pikachu. OWNED
48
Ninjask
Being an early-game Bug-type, you would expect Ninjask to have shit for every single stat. But when you take a look at it, you'll see that it has good base 90 Attack and... MASSIVE BASE 160 SPEED! Ninjask is the best Baton Passer in the game, being able to Baton Pass Swords Dance, Speed boosts and Substitutes with relative ease. Ninjask's looks very awesome, and thus it ranks highly.

Fun Fact: Ninjask can't learn ExtremeSpeed. Seriously, wtf?
47
Empoleon
Empoleon takes two of my favourite types together, and like Heracross and Skarmory, it forms an awesome unique typing. Empoleon has high defenses and high special attack, and the second most resistances and immunities of all Pokemon (tied with Registeel, Mawile and Dialga, and beaten by Magnemite family). Empoleon has a powerful SubPetaya set with Torrent, which allows it to do massive damage to pretty much anything. Empoleon also has a great concept (emperor penguin? awesome), and it looks cool, too.

Fun Fact: Only three Pokemon can get STAB from Steel Wing, and Empoleon is one of them. The other two are Scizor and Skarmory.
46
Kabutops
With a sleek, badass look, I knew Kabutops was awesome when I first saw it. Kabutops has high Attack and Speed, which can be increased by Swift Swim (in Rain). It can do massive damage in both UU and OU. Kabutops can also use moves like Swords Dance to make it even more powerful.

Fun Fact: Kabutops' original name was 'Lantis'. Kind of boring.
45
Cresselia
I originally thought that Cresselia was just one of the nth boring Psychic-type legendaries. But my opinion of it improved when I realized that it isn't completely worthless and is very useful defensively. Cresselia has MASSIVE base HP, Defense and Special Defense, and recovery (albeit unreliable in OU due to Sandstorm) in Moonlight. However, Cresselia was lacking in resistances, so it could not keep up. Design-wise, Cresselia is somewhat cute, so it ranks quite high.

Fun Fact: Cresselia earned what is possibly the fastest ban from UU in the entire of D/P.
44
Gardevoir
Gardevoir may not be a complete powerhouse, but it's fun to use with high base 125 Special Attack and 115 Special Defense stats. Gardevoir has some nice movepool options like Psychic, Shadow Ball, Focus Blast and Thunderbolt, so it's pretty awesome.

Fun Fact: Gardevoir can learn Will-O-Wisp by breeding, but not by TM. Wtf?
43
Machamp
Machamp is a very cool looking Pokemon that is an excellent Pokemon to use in battling. It can use perfect-accuracy DynamicPunch (due to No Guard) alongside moves like Payback and Bullet Punch. Machamp has other awesome attacks like Stone Edge and Ice Punch, and can do a lot of damage to most Pokemon.

Fun Fact: Machamp's original English name was 'Ju-Doh'. LOLFAIL
42
Houndoom
Houndoom is a very cool, badass Pokemon with powerful special attacks like Fire Blast and Dark Pulse. It can learn the awesome move Nasty Plot, and can do a lot of damage in UU with it. Houndoom has incredible power, as well.

Fun Fact: See, Houndoom DOES have a good side!

41
Crobat
Crobat is another very cool Pokemon, with ridiculous speed and powerful attacks like Brave Bird. It can even be a special sweeper with Nasty Plot and moves like Sludge Bomb and Heat Wave. Crobat also looks very awesome, and it's a great evolution to Golbat.

Fun Fact: Crobat only has teeth on its lower jaw...wtf?
40
Mismagius
Ghost-types are really awesome, and Mismagius is no exception. Mismagius has Nasty Plot, which makes it even more awesome, and with awesome moves like Thunderbolt, Energy Ball and Shadow Ball (quite similar to Gengar?), Mismagius is capable of being a powerful sweeper.

Fun Fact: BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH

39
Salamence
Being a pseudo-legendary, Salamence is very powerful, which makes Salamence pretty cool. Base 135 Attack was unheard of from Gen I and II Pokemon (with the highest being 134, from Dragonite and Tyranitar). Salamence has awesome moves, like Outrage and Earthquake, and it looks pretty cool too. The only bad thing about it is Salamence's fantard base (ever seen kids run around with six shiny lv 100 salamences, all from their action replay?).

Fun Fact: MOAR BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH

38
Aerodactyl
Pterodactyls are awesome, and thus Aerodactyl is my favourite Fossil Pokemon. Aerodactyl has an awesome sleek design. Being the fastest Pokemon of R/B/Y/G/S/C is pretty awesome (well, tied with Jolteon, Mewtwo and Crobat). Aerodactyl has a lot of attack power, with moves like Stone Edge and Earthquake demolishing many Pokemon. Aerodactyl is best known for being the most popular OU lead for quite awhile.

Fun Fact: OOOH DINNER! =D

37
Wobbuffet
I don't know why, but I thought Wobbuffet was kind of cute, with its confused >_< eyes. Now, I don't think it's as cute, but I still think it's awesome for being an Uber with low stats. Wobbuffet has the perfect stats for CounterCoating - massive HP and low defenses - and Shadow Tag and Encore make it even easier.

Fun Fact: NOMNOMNOM FLOWERS

36
Lugia
Okay, so this probably has been mentioned several times, but if Lugia is the guardian of the seas and is known as the 'Diving Pokemon', then WHY THE HELL ISN'T IT WATER TYPE? That aside, Lugia is very awesome with its simple yet nice looking design. Lugia is the best mixed wall in the game (except maybe for Giratina), and with 106/130/154 base defensive stats, plus instant recovery in either Roost or Recover, it makes sense why it is the best wall.

Fun Fact: Baby Lugia is so cute...

35
Blaziken
First and foremost: Blaziken is the ORIGINAL Fire/Fighting starter. The use of this typing three times in a row (yes, in Gen V too -_-) disappoints me. But this is WHY Blaziken is more awesome (in my opinion) than the other starters; it was an original idea then. Anyway... Blaziken is an awesome looking Pokemon with great offensive stats. Blaziken has cool moves like Flare Blitz and Superpower. Blaziken is very cool.

Fun Fact: EVEN MOAR BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH
Photobucket
34
Dialga
Steel/Dragon combines two AWESOME types, and Dialga was also the mascot of the game I played the most (ugh... 800+ hours -_-). Dialga has massive attack power, a massive amount of resistances and immunities, and is full of AWESOMENESS!

Fun Fact: EVEN MOAR BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH
Photobucket
33
Rotom
Firstly, I'm so SICK of people saying 'OMGG ROTOMZ R LAGANDERYZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!'. Rotom is NOT a legendary, and that's part of why its so awesome. Rotom's alternate forms are also very cool (washing machine? oven? EPIC) and Rotom is very cool in battle too.

Fun Fact: NOMNOMNOM PIKACHU =D
Photobucket
32
Torkoal
Turtles are awesome, and Torkoal is no exception. Torkoal's massive 140 defense is equal to that of SKARMORY, for comparison. Torkoal has awesome moves like Eruption, Rapid Spin and Stealth Rock, which makes Torkoal more epic.

Fun Fact: BLARGHFORCE
Photobucket
31
Rayquaza
Dragon/Flying is a very awesome typing, and while it may not be original, it's still very effective. Rayquaza has massive attack power (base 150 Attack AND Special Attack? HOLY SHIT) and awesome moves like Outrage, Fire Blast, etc.

Fun Fact: I AM THE SHINY RAYQUAZA...oh wait, an illusion... =(
Photobucket
30
Drapion
Poison/Dark is a new original typing, and Drapion is SO MUCH COOLER than the **** Skuntank. Drapion has a lot of resistances, and has high defense and attack. Drapion has the epic ability Sniper, and awesome moves like Night Slash and Cross Poison.

Fun Fact: Drapion can be caught at level 28 in the Great Marsh... wtf?
10/10 - These Pokemon are so EPIC that they get a perfect rating!
29
Caterpie
Ok, so Caterpie is bashed quite a lot for being just 'some weak bug-type'.... but Caterpie is much more than that! Caterpie is awesome and cute, and it's Bug-type, which is awesome!

Fun Fact: Caterpie's in-game cry is the exact same as Goldeen's. Why? =(
28
Tyranitar
Tyranitar has an awesome unique typing, and has a lot of power behind its attacks. Crunch, Pursuit, Earthquake and Stone Edge are all awesome moves that Tyranitar gets, and it uses these moves very well. Tyranitar looks very awesome, too.

Fun Fact: Tyranitar's movepool is MASSIVE - 99 moves!
27
Swampert
Swampert is a nice improvement over Quagsire, and is my second favourite starter of all. Swampert has high defensive stats and offensive stats. Swampert has powerful moves like Earthquake and Waterfall, and is overall a very cool Pokemon.

Fun Fact: Swampert has the highest base stat total of ALL starters.
26
Alakazam
Alakazam has the highest Special Attack stat of all non-legendary Pokemon (tied with Porygon-Z), which makes Alakazam really awesome. Alakazam's cool-looking design makes me like it more and with high powered moves like Psychic, Signal Beam and Focus Blast, Alakazam can do MASSIVE damage to lots of things.

Fun Fact: Alakazam doesn't have a tail, but can still use Iron Tail. Wtf?
25
Gyarados
Gyarados is an EPIC looking Pokemon that has high stats in nearly all of its stats. Moves like Waterfall, Ice Fang and Earthquake make it a massive threat in OU. Gyarados gets Dragon Dance and Intimidate, making it easy to switch in and set up.

Fun Fact: Gyarados' original name was to be 'Skullkraken'. Doesn't sound that bad.
24
Zapdos
Zapdos has an awesome typing in Electric/Flying, being one of only two Electric types that isn't weak to Ground. Zapdos has a lot of resistances and can also inflict a lot of damage with moves like Thunderbolt in OU. Zapdos is very cool, and has an awesome design.

Fun Fact: Zapdos can be captured when one only has three badges (Red/Blue/Yellow/FireRed/Leafgreen)(Boulderbadge, Cascade Badge and Soul Badge).
23
Blastoise
Blastoise is a turtle, which makes it automatically awesome. Water type is also one of my favourite types, so Blastoise gets more points for that. Blastoise has an awesome design (cannons? EPIC) and has some great stats, so Blastoise is very cool.

Fun Fact: Shiny Blastoise is Green and Purple! SO AWESOME
Photobucket
22
Magmortar
Magmortar is an awesome looking Fire-type Pokemon. Like Blastoise, Magmortar has awesome cannons, and this time it shoots fire! Magmortar has a massive Special Attarck stat. Too bad that Magmortar's speed is pretty low...

Fun Fact: Magmortar's speed goes DOWN by ten points. Disappointing...
21
Butterfree
Butterfree fell just outside of the Top 20... too bad... Butterfree is a very cute Pokemon, and while it may not be the most powerful, it has awesome status attacks and an epic ability that makes them hit nearly all the time. Butterfree is very cute and awesome.

Fun Fact: Butterfree can't learn Iron Defense, but its pre-evolution Metapod can.

TOP 20 TIME! WOOT!
