Luvdisc |
Great. So here we have it. Luvdisc puts the awesome Water type to shame. Luvdisc has an 'EXCELLENT' base 97 speed, which is 'only' outsped by the likes of Voltorb. Not only that, Luvdisc's 'SPECTACULAR' base 30 Attack stat can do a 'MASSIVE' 10% damage to CATERPIE with TAKE DOWN! And of course, you can't forget Luvdisc's base 55 Defense stat, so Caterpie can 'ONLY' do 65% with Bug Bite. Such a load of potential. I must also take a moment to capitalize on the concept of Luvdisc. Luvdisc is one of GameFreak's greatest creations. The idea of a pink heart Pokémon has never before been created, compared to many other Water-type Hoenn repeats, such as Feebas. Luvdisc has obvious superiority to the many Hoenn Water-types, boasting an Attack stat that is 'only' 80 points lower than Swampert. To sum up Luvdisc, if one is to come face-to-face with it, Luvdisc will likely thrash you, 6-0. |

I must say, GameFreak has had some absolutely 'INCREDIBLE' ideas in Hoenn and Sinnoh. Bibarel is GameFreak's 'greatest' creation, except possibly for everyone's 'FAVOURITE' Pokemon, Luvdisc. Bibarel is a Normal/Water type beaver, an idea which has never been implemented in previous Pokemon games. Not only, that, Bibarel has an 'impressive' base 55 Special Attack stat, which is only 'just' beaten by Abra's base 105 Special Attack stat and Shellos' base 57 Special Attack stat. Bibarel also has the ability Simple, which 'only' reduces Bibarel's defense stat to a third of its original value if it is hit by Screech. In standard battles, Bibarel is such an 'unstoppable' beast. Bibarel's powerful Mud Slap does a massive 0.3% damage to Wormadam in Plant form. Not only that, Mud Slap does an incredible 0.7% to Blissey, and 0% to Ledyba! Overall, Bibarel is a 'PHENOMENAL' Pokemon. |

Being the pre-evolution of Bibarel, one would be correct to assume that Bidoof is a monstrous powerhouse, whose powerful unSTAB Mud Slap, coming off a base 35 Special Attack stat, does a massive 0.15% to Wormadam Plant form. On the concept of Bidoof, Bidoof is a Plump Mouse Pokemon, which perfectly matches its picture of a beaver. Even if you hate Bidoof, you must admit: Bidoof is a powerhouse. |
