Infernape has the same typing as Blaziken. Fire/Fighting is a cool typing, but it sucks that Infernape pretty much completely outclassed Blaziken in competitive play. Fun Fact: Infernape has consistently been a Top 10 OU Pokemon. |
99 | Slowbro | I haven't used Slowbro very much, but from what I've heard, it was one of the few Pokemon who could effectively counter Mewtwo in R/B. Slowbro also looks pretty cool. I should try use it some time........ Fun Fact: Emerald Shiny Slowbro's tongue is blue. It looks really ridiculous.

| 98 | Golem | Golem is a cool-looking rock monster. It was one of the few OUs in R/B. Golem has a high Attack and Defense stat, plus access to the awesome move Explosion. Fun Fact: Golem has fallen a single tier every generation. It began as OU in R/B, and progressed down to NU in D/P. |
| 97 | Marowak | Team Rocket is so evil. They killed an awesome Pokemon =( Regardless, Marowak is very cool, and he has massive attack stats with Thick Club. Marowak has awesome looks, and is cool enough to get its own special item. Fun Fact: If Marowak uses Swords Dance while holding the Thick Club item, if it has a maximum attack DV, its attack stat will rollover to a low integer. Something like 28 attack stat........ |
| 96 | Umbreon | Umbreon is a cool-looking Dark-type Pokemon. Umbreon looks both cool and cute, and it's not a complete attacking dark type. Umbreon has good HP, good Defense and great Special Defense. However, Dark isn't very good for a defensive type. Fun Fact: Umbreon has remained OU for three generations. However, in D/P, Umbreon has been UU most of the time. It barely made the jump from UU to OU, skipping BL. |
| 95 | Blissey | Blissey is a cute Pokemon, and it has the highest base stat (not total) of all Pokemon, the highest HP of all Pokemon, and has remained OU for three generations. Blissey is the best special wall of the entire game. It can take pretty much any special attack, and it can even survive some nonSTAB neutral physical attacks. Fun Fact: Blissey is a demented egg thingy. |
| 94 | Crawdaunt | Crawdaunt is pretty cool for a Dark-type Pokemon, and Water is also one of my favourite types. Crawdaunt has high base 120 Attack stat, plus moves like Swords Dance and Waterfall, so Crawdaunt can be fun to use in NU battles. Crawdaunt also looks awesome. Fun Fact: Crawdaunt's original name was Lobstar. That's a pretty awful name. |
| 93 | Deoxys | Deoxys is an awesome legendary. The ability to transform to suit your needs is great. Although Deoxys-Attack gets screwed over by Priority moves, it can do massive damage to any team. Deoxys-Defense is probably the best Ubers spiker. Deoxys-Speed is consistently the best lead in Ubers, as it has massive speed. Fun Fact: Deoxys is one of few Pokemon to get its own battle theme. Afterwards came Arceus and Origin Giratina. Suicune, Raikou and Entei get the same battle music in HeartGold/SoulSilver, but the music is done using different instruments (Bells-Suicune, Synthesizer-Raikou, Electric Guitar-Entei [AWESOME]) |
| 92 | Groudon | Groudon is an awesome looking legendary. Groudon has a massive Attack stat. It has a decent Speed stat which can be boosted using Rock Polish. Groudon also gets Swords Dance, which is pretty awesome. Groudon has a great movepool. Additions like Stone Edge can allow Groudon to take on some of its previous counters. Fun Fact: Groudon has THE most powerful Earthquake in the entire game. |
| 91 | Drifblim | I'm actually quite surprised that Drifblim got up this high, but Drifblim is pretty cool, and it looks kinda cute too. Drifblim can Baton Pass Substitutes bigger than Vaporeon's (!). Drifblim has three important immunities to Normal, Fighting and Ground, letting it Baton Pass easier. Drifblim also has an epic ability in Unburden. Fun Fact: SHINY GOLDEN DRIFBLIM IS AWESOME  |
| 90 | Manaphy | Manaphy is a cute Water-type Pokemon, and it can actually inflict quite a lot of damage. Tail Glow+Rain+Hydration-Rest+Surf will allow you to inflict massive damage while quickly healing up all of your health. Manaphy's movepool is small, but it's good enough to be uber. Fun Fact: Manaphy is the hardest Pokemon to get shiny. You would need to get a Manaphy egg and trade it to a game where it can hatch shiny. |
| 89 | Garchomp | So....this is Sinnoh's pseudo-legendary. It looks pretty impressive, but it has a massive base of fans, who love it so much that they would use it in every single team. Garchomp is uber and too powerful for most Pokemon. Before Garchomp was banned, it was top of OU every single time. Fun Fact: Garchomp is the only pseudo-legendary who can't hit 400+ Attack. OWNED |
| 88 | Riolu | Riolu is a cute Fighting-type Pokemon, and while it may be completely worthless in any type of battle (even Little Cup), Riolu does look cool as well, and isn't as poor a baby Pokemon as [insert almost any baby Pokemon here]. Fun Fact: In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Pokemon can have two abilities. Riolu has Inner Focus and Steadfast. So....if Riolu gets flinched, then....steadfast activates? But Inner Focus protects it? WTF |
| 87 | Rhydon | Rhydon is an awesome Pokemon who has a massive HP, Attack and Defense stat. I don't understand why Rhydon needed an evolution, but whatever. Rhydon has awesome STAB moves in Earthquake and Stone Edge, and was a great Pokemon. Fun Fact: In Gen 1, Rhydon's index number is 001, causing many glitch Pokemon to become Rhydon instead (I WILL OWN YOU WITH MY LV 0 RHYDON WHO KNOWS THE MOVES WATER GUN, WATER GUN, SKY ATTACK AND POUND) |
| 86 | Tentacruel | Tentacruel is an AWESOME looking Water-type Pokemon. Tentacruel looks badass and has high powered moves. Tentacruel is also an OU Pokemon in D/P, and is a great Toxic Spiker. Tentacruel is a bit annoying in Water routes, but Tentacruel's sheer awesomeness nullifies that. Fun Fact: Tentacruel's original name was 'Man O War'. ABSOLUTELY HORRID |
| 85 | Squirtle | Squirte is a cute Water-type Pokemon, and is my favourite base-stage starter. Squirtle is also a turtle, which automatically makes it awesome. Water is also a cool type, and being a great Little Cup Rapid Spinner is also pretty awesome. Squirtle is great. Fun Fact: BADASS SQUIRTLE

| 84 | Vileplume | Vileplume is a cute looking Grass type Pokemon. Vileplume is one of the Pokemon that i use very often in FireRed, and it's always fun to use. Vileplume also has some awesome moves like Aromatherapy, Leaf Storm and Leech Seed. Vileplume is awesome. Fun Fact: Vileplume is based off the rafflesia, which is said to be the most poisonous plant. Wow. |
| 83 | Porygon | Porygon is a very cute Normal type Pokemon. Porygon is also awesome in Little Cup, and has good base stats for an unevolved Pokemon. Porygon has awesome moves like Tri-Attack, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, etc. Porygon is cute and awesome. Fun Fact: It wasn't Porygon who caused all those seizures in Japan. It was Pikachu's Thunderbolt! | 82 | Mewtwo | Mewtwo is an awesome Psychic-type Pokemon. The concept of a clone Pokemeon is very cool, and Mewtwo has the second highest Special Attack of all Pokemon. Mewtwo's stats are placed in just the right areas, and make Mewtwo a great uber. Fun Fact: Mewtwo's birthday is February 6. =o |
| 81 | Sceptile | Sceptile is a cool-looking Grass-type Pokemon. It's pretty cool, and has high Special Attack and massive Speed. Sceptile is also the fastest non-uber Leech Seeder, and it can fire off super-fast Leaf Storms. Sceptile is pretty awesome. Fun Fact: Sceptile is tied for the highest base stat of a starter (120 in speed). It is tied with Blaziken (120 Attack). |
| 80 | Sableye | Sableye is a cool Pokemon, and it's awesome for being the first pokemon with no weaknesses without being a pile of discoloured scrambled eggs. Sableye, is unfortunately, not very useful in battle, so it can't go as far in the list as I would like... Fun Fact: Shiny Sableye looks awesome, and has an Emerald in its chest.

| 79 | Absol | Absol is an awesome Dark-type Pokemon with high-powered attacks and a massive base 130 Attack stat. It gets awesome moves, like Swords Dance, and Absol can also Baton Pass goodies (although it's not very good at it). Absol also looks really cool. Fun Fact: Absol has the strongest priority move in the entire game. |
| 78 | Lucario | Lucario is an awesome looking Pokemon. Fighting/Steel is a cool typing, and it is the closest you can get to taking no damage from Stealth Rock (takes minimal damage. Steelix also takes minimal damage). Lucario can inflict massive damage with its wide movepool. Pretty cool. Fun Fact: LUCARIO IS TEH BESTESTEST POKEMAN EVAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111 |
| 77 | Dusknoir | Dusknoir is possibly the most unnecessary evolution of Gen IV (except maybe for Rhyperior). Regardless, Dusknoir is an awesome Pokemon, with a grim reaper basis. And that's pretty cool. Dusknoir has massive defenses, plus a good base 100 Attack stat. Fun Fact: Dusknoir can learn Mega Kick, but has no legs. To get this, a Dusclops must be obtained somehow on a FireRed/LeafGreen cartridge, and tutored the move Mega Kick. It must then be evolved into Dusknoir. |
| 76 | Venusaur | Venusaur is an epic starter Pokemon, with great offensive stats and great defensive stats. It also has the move Sleep Powder, plus awesome moves like Power Whip, Leaf Storm and Earthquake. Venusaur has been #1 of UU several times, which makes it pretty good. Fun Fact: VENUSAUR USED FRENZY PLANT! YOU MUST DIEEEEEEEEEEE!

| 75 | Rampardos | Rampardos has a massive base attack stat of 165, and it also has awesome moves like STAB Stone Edge/Head Smash, Earthquake, Fire Punch, and other awesome moves. Rampardos also looks very awesome, and the only reason why it isn't destroying everything in OU is its low speed and below average defenses. Fun Fact: RAMPARDOS USED HEAD SMASH!

| 74 | Arcanine | Arcanine is an EPIC Fire-type Pokemon, with an unusually high base stat total (555), plus Flare Blitz to inflict massive damage, Reversal to inflict even more damage at low health, and Morning Sun to recover the lost HP. Arcanine also looks really awesome, and has cool design basis. Fun Fact: Arcanine's original name was 'Blaze'. How boring. |
| 73 | Aggron | Steel/Rock is a poor typing, but when you have STAB Head Smash with NO RECOIL, coming off of 350 ATTACK, you know Aggron is epic. With other helpful moves like Aqua Tail, Low Kick and Ice Punch, Aggron can inflict a lot of damage to the Pokemon the few Pokemon that can switch in on Head Smash. Aggron also looks awesome. Fun Fact: SHINY AGGRON HAS A RED EYE! SCARY

| 72 | Tropius | While Grass/Flying may not be the best typing, it still is pretty cool. Tropius isn't very useful in battle, but Tropius is fun to use in-game with awesome moves like Air Slash and Leaf Storm. Tropius also looks really awesome and has a great design. Fun Fact: Tropius is the exact same size as Venusaur - 6'7" and 220.5 lbs. |
| 71 | Typhlosion | Typhlosion is an epic Fire-type starter Pokemon with awesome moves like Eruption and Focus Blast. Typhlosion also has high Special Attack and Speed to use these powerful attacks. Typhlosion looks pretty awesome too. Fun Fact: Typhlosion has the exact same base stats as Charizard. |
| 70 | Bronzong | Steel/Psychic with Levitate or Heatproof gives Bronzong a massive amount of resistances, plus only one weakness. Bronzong can also defend itself using Gyro Ball, and Earthquake and it can set up Stealth Rocks. Bronzong doesn't look that cool, and it's kind of strange. Fun Fact: MY SWORD IS GO  |
| 69 | Roserade | Lol 69 is Roserade...... Anyway, Roserade is a great lead to use in OU, with moves like Sleep Powder, Spikes and Toxic Spikes. Roserade has an epic base 125 Special Attack stat and high powered moves like Leaf Storm and Sludge Bomb. Fun Fact: Roserade is one of two second-evolution Pokemon that is legitimate at Level 1. |

Azelf is pretty awesome. Fun Fact: POWERPUFF GIRLS! GO!  |

| 62 | Altaria | Altaria is an awesome Dragon-type Pokemon, who may not be as powerful as all the rest, but is more defensive and more cute. Altaria isn't worthless in battle, either, being the dominating (and only) UU dragon with moves like Dragon Dance, Outrage, Fire Blast and Earthquake. Altaria is pretty cool. |
| 61 | Froslass | Froslass is a cute and cool Pokemon with a unique typing and awesome moves. Froslass is a great Spikes lead with moves like Taunt and Destiny Bond supporting it. Froslass is one of only eleven Pokemon who are classified as BL. Fun Fact: Froslass does not open its mouth to use Crunch and Ice Fang in Pokemon Battle Revolution. ....o_O |
| 60 | Octillery | Being one of the few Pokemon who can learn the epic move Water Spout, Octillery is very awesome. Octillery has high offensive stats and a MASSIVE movepool, making it very fun to use in battle. Unfortunately, low speed holds it back... Fun Fact: Octillery is a water type that can learn Fire Blast. Only Slowbro, Castform, Palkia and Gyarados can do this as well. |
| 59 | Kingdra | Kingdra is an epic Pokemon that takes two of my favourite types and fuses them into one Pokemon. Kingdra is a great offensive Pokemon that can run both physical (Dragon Dance) and special (Rain) sets. Kingdra also looks cool. Fun Fact: Every one of Kingdra's moves (excluding Hidden Power) are resisted by Empoleon. OWNED |
| 58 | Steelix | Steelix is an awesome Steel type Pokemon who has MASSIVE physical defenses and a lot of resistances. Steelix is one of two Pokemon that double resists Stealth Rock (Lucario being the other). Steelix can set up Stealth Rock, inflict high damage with STAB Gyro Ball and Earthquake, and is fun to use in battle. Fun Fact: Steelix has the second highest physical defense, tying with Regirock and losing only to Shuckle. |
| 57 | Scyther | Scyther is a very cool Pokemon that takes another two of my favourite types and puts them together without being some lame failure (Mothim.......Vespiquen.......). Scyther has good offensive stats, and is one of few unevolved Pokemon in UU. Scyther can use many powerful moves effectively such as X-Scissor and Aerial Ace. Scyther also looks awesome. Fun Fact: Scyther and its evolution Scizor both have the same base stat total, but different distributions. Strange. |
| 56 | Lapras | Lapras is a cute and cool looking Pokemon with high base stats (especially HP) and cool moves. Lapras has BoltBeam, Surf, Psychic, and other great moves. Lapras is also a great design and looks very cool. Fun Fact: Lapras can learn three of four one-hit-KO moves (Horn Drill, Fissure and Sheer Cold). It cannot learn Guillotine. |
| 55 | Vaporeon | Vaporeon is an awesome, cute and cool Water-type Pokemon with massive base HP and very good Special Attack. Its defenses aren't bad (although physical defense is low). Vaporeon can use supportive moves like Wish effectively. Vaporeon is commonly ranked somewhat high, being #22 in OU. Fun Fact: In Gen I, Vaporeon could learn Bubblebeam, but not Bubble. Seriously, wtf? |
| 54 | Snorlax | Snorlax is an awesome Pokemon with massive offensive stats and great defensive stats. Snorlax was the best OU Pokemon in G/S, and it is one of few Pokemon who remained OU across every single generation. Snorlax has a MASSIVELY powerful attack in STAB Selfdestruct (...holy shit.) and has awesome moves like Return, Earthquake and Fire Punch. Fun Fact: ...Can you imagine a Snorlax hatching from an egg? Seriously, wtf? |

| 52 | Forretress | Forretress (so annoying to spell) is a cool Pokemon with massive defense (base 140!) and has a lot of resistances. Forretress can defend itself with Gyro Ball, but since steel is a poor attacking type, it doesn't do that well. Forretress is best for setting up entry hazards. Fun Fact: Forretress is one of two families of Pokemon that can learn all three entry hazards (Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Stealth Rock). The other is the Omastar family. |
| 51 | Mew | Ouch. Sorry, Mew. Just missing out on the Top 50 mark. Mew is a cool, cute and useful Pokemon that can be offensive, defensive, or supportive. Mew's movepool is ridiculously large, and with well-rounded defensive stats, Mew can do pretty much anything. Mew is very cute as well, so it ranks highly. Fun Fact: Mew has the shortest name of all Pokemon, alongside Muk. |
